저는 올어바웃메이 서비스를 하고 있는 (주)베컨의 대표이사 김용현이라고 합니다.

대한민국의 의료기술은 세계 최고수준이지만 사실 수술이나 시술을 위해 우리 한국을 찾은 외국인들에게, 특히 가격적인 부분에서 불만이 많았다는 것은 부정할 수 없는 사실입니다.
가격이 높고 낮음의 문제가 아니라 어느 루트를 통해서 병원에 컨택이 되었는지에 따라 그 가격이 고무줄처럼 늘었다 줄었다 하는 부분에 대한 불만이 그동안 많았음을 알고 있습니다.

지금 팬데믹으로 국가간 왕래가 줄어든 지금,
저희 올어바웃메이에서 아주 작지만 특별한 시도를 시작하려 합니다.
외국인을 대상으로 한 "외국인 최저가 보장제도"가 바로 그것 입니다.
병원의 고유수가를 우리 올어바웃메이 라는 플랫폼에서 좌지우지 하려는 의도가 아닙니다.
다만,
한국에서 형성된 가격정보를 모르기 때문에...... 그리고 혹은 중간에 낀 많은 브로커들 때문에 외국인들이 바가지 쓴 고무줄 가격으로 수술을 받고 종국에는 한국에 대한 큰 실망을 하게 되는 안타까운 상황을 조금이나마 우리힘으로 바꾸고 싶습니다.

지금은 겨우 5개 병원으로 시작하지만 의미있는 시도인 만큼 조만간 더 많은 병원들을 모집 하겠습니다.
