ULTHERAPY PRIME
Hi, it’s ivory again :)
It’s been a little while since my last post about Thermage FLX (300 shots). Since then, I’ve been continuing my little “skin experiment” phase — trying different treatments and figuring out what actually works for me rather than just following trends.
This time, I finally decided to write about Ultherapy Prime (300 shots), which I had done recently.
As I mentioned before, I’ve had Ultherapy in the past — both 300 and 600 shots — but I never properly wrote about those experiences here. So when I heard about the new Ultherapy Prime, I was curious how it would compare, especially since technology and comfort levels seem to keep improving.
So… how was it?
First of all, I’ll be honest: Ultherapy is definitely a different experience compared to something like Thermage. You can feel the energy going deeper into the skin, especially around areas like the jawline and lower face. It’s not unbearable, but you do know something is happening under the surface.
That said, the session itself was actually smoother than I expected. The doctor explained the process clearly, checked the ultrasound imaging carefully, and adjusted the shots as we went. The whole treatment took a little under an hour.
💬 Right after the session, I didn’t look dramatically different — which I expected. But I did notice that my jawline felt slightly more defined, especially when I looked at my side profile.
The biggest difference with Ultherapy is that it’s not really about instant results. It’s more of a slow process where your skin gradually tightens as collagen rebuilds over time. So I’m trying to be patient and see how things look over the next couple of months.
What I personally like about Ultherapy Prime is that it feels like a deeper structural treatment. Thermage felt more like a skin-quality and maintenance treatment, while Ultherapy seems more focused on lifting and supporting the deeper layers.
Since I’m still in my 20s, I’m not looking for dramatic lifting — just subtle support so things don’t start sliding downward too soon. In that sense, 300 shots felt like a good balance for me.
Also, I keep going back to Cheongdam Eclat because the overall experience is just very calm and professional. It never feels rushed, and the consultations are always detailed enough that I understand what’s actually happening to my skin.
I’ll probably update again in a few months once the collagen remodeling really kicks in. That’s when Ultherapy usually shows its real results.
Until then —
I’m curious to see how this one develops.
