Hello everyone~
I just wanted to make a post here for anyone who was curious about the Onda lifting and my experience with this clinic. This will be a lengthy post as i like to be as detailed as possible for anyone who is curious about the process like i am.
I want to first state that I actually initially came to this clinic to consult about their liposuction promotion but ended up going with the Onda lifting.
To start off, the staff here are extremely friendly. I do speak some Korean so it wasn’t too hard for me to communicate but it may be difficult for a foreigner who doesn’t speak any Korean. They do have a translator that speaks English but you would have to communicate with the translator through the phone.
When I walked in i gave them my id and they had me sit down. Like i mentioned before, i initially came in for liposuction so one of the staff took me into a room to take my inbody measurement. I had to take off my shoes and socks. The machine measured my weight then asked me for my phone number, height, and age. I then proceeded to grab onto these 2 pole like things. After that, i sat in the waiting room and waited for the doctor to see me.
After waiting for a bit, i got walked into a room to speak with the doctor. She had a sheet that had a lot of information about my body like my percentage of fat in my body, bmi, etc. The doctor explained to me that our body has 2 areas we keep fat, under the skin and under our organs. The only area lipo can get is under the skin. She then proceeded to tell me that my bmi was quite high and that i had quite a lot of fat under my organs (i wasn’t that surprised as i had stopped dieting and really endulgrd the past 3 weeks). Due to this, even with lipo i won’t see the results i want since lipo is more of a contouring procedure rather than a fat loss procedure. She suggested i lose some weight/fat first and see if i still wanted the lipo.
To help me lose the amount of weight i needed to, she suggested i do Onda lifting (on my upper/lower abdomen and love handles) instead and diet pills to help me lose the weight faster (i have a wedding to go to in April). I never heard of Onda lifting before this so i wasn’t sure what it was but one of the managers explained it to me along with the translator and it sounded intriguing. I asked how long the procedure is and they said about 40minutes so i decided to do it the same day as i had no other schedules.
After i made the decision, they put me into a room to change into a robe and they laid me down and used a machine on me that felt like an ultra sound. I had 2 women using it on me on both sides for at least 10-15minutes(not sure what it was but it didn’t hurt at all). After that i moved to the procedure room where they had the Onda machine. The doctor came in and began using it on me. This also felt like an ultrasound. There was some pressure used but didn’t hurt and wasn’t uncomfortable. The longer it was used i did feel a temperature change but it wasn’t painful at all and wasn’t uncomfortable, just something that was noticeable. After a good 30minutes or so i was done.
It has now been a week since i have done the Onda lifting and been on the diet pills. I have met with the doctor for my check up today. Since last week i have lost 2kg. I do admit i was a little skeptical about this procedure and the weight loss can be due to the diet pills but i noticed that the 2 pockets of fat i have on my upper abdomen that never go away even when i lose weight have decreased by a lot and i believe that is with the help of the Onda lifting. I believe it also takes about a month for full results to show.
