Trying Thermage FLX This Time — Curious but Cautious
Hi, it’s ivory again :)
If you’ve seen my last post here, you might remember I shared my experience with Rejuran Healer. Since then, I’ve been slowly exploring more treatments to figure out what works for me — and this time, I went for Thermage FLX (300 shots)
I’ve actually tried Ultherapy before — both 300 and 600 shots — but I haven’t written about those experiences yet (still organizing my thoughts and photos 😅). So Thermage was kind of my way of comparing the two, especially now that I’m focusing more on skin texture and light lifting rather than deep contouring.
So… Thermage FLX. What did I think?
The session was surprisingly comfortable. There’s warmth, sure, but nothing overwhelming. The team explained everything step by step, and the treatment took about an hour. I expected to walk out red or a little swollen, but my face looked totally fine — no downtime at all, which was a big win.
💬 *I did feel like my skin was a little tighter by the next day, especially around my jawline and under my chin.* Subtle, but there. They told me it would get better over the next few months, so I’m trying not to overanalyze it too soon.
What I liked most was that it felt more like a maintenance treatment than a dramatic change — the kind of thing you’d do every year to keep things “up.” I’m in my 20s, so I’m more into prevention and light tweaks than anything drastic, and this fit that mindset really well.
Also: Cheongdam Eclat is just such a nice place to go to. I’ve taken friends and family there too, and every time it feels low-pressure but very thorough.
I’ll probably write about my Ultherapy experience next — it was definitely more intense, and I have more thoughts on how the two compare.
Stay tuned!
