I’ve only ever had b*tox in the US, and now every Seoul clinic is giving me a menu of Korean brands I’ve never heard of.

Back home, I usually discuss the area, number of units, and the result I want. In Korea, the first question seems to be which brand or price tier I want.

From what I’ve read, Korean brands aren’t automatically lower quality just because they’re cheaper or unfamiliar to me. I’m starting to think the injector and dose probably matter more than choosing the most recognizable box.

One clinic suggested a Korean brand for my jaw and the b*tox I normally get in the US for my forehead. That actually made some sense because the jaw needs a larger dose, but I’m not sure if that’s common or just an upsell in two directions lol.

Has anyone tried both Korean and US brands? Did you notice a real difference in how fast they worked, how long they lasted, or how natural the result looked?

Also, do clinics normally show you the unopened box before injecting?
