Arm lipo at 2 weeks after procedure
This was a rather uncomfortable week. Throughout the week, I kept getting more and more lumps, and the pain turned into a throbbing, annoying type of pain.
Around 6/10 on the scale, but mainly when I’m more active, like when I go for long walks.
Honestly, I didn’t think I would get the lumps/bumps since I didn’t really have many on my abdomen in the past. On my abdomen, only one side had some swelling, but the bumps weren’t very prominent. However, on my arm… goshhhh. The bumps were painful and very visible. It started in my armpit and slowly developed on my biceps area too. Because of that, I continued wearing clothes with sleeves. The swelling on my elbow is still there. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t drinking enough water on some days. I probably should drink more to help flush out the fluid.
By the way, I panicked and started Googling how to get rid of the bumps, so I ended up doing more massages (basically random pressing). I also started wearing compression garments. I’m really hoping the bumps will soften or slowly go away within a month!
Putting on the compression was tight and quite painful. Not enough to scream, but definitely uncomfortable. Once it’s on, it feels okay. I pulled the compression too hard once and that was a solid 7/10 pain, but generally it’s around 6/10. I can still sleep on my side as long as I find the right angle for my arm.
I also tried wearing a sports bra and omg! please don’t do that. It hurt so much! The tight bands made my whole arm painful.
The good thing is the bruising was gone by mid week 2! Yayy!
And based on the looks, there are definitely improvements to the side view! My arm looks smaller especially the tricep area, and best of all, the armpit area is reduced with not much bulging anymore. I can’t wait to wear more sleeveless clothes in the future! 🥳
I’m expecting the uncomfort to reduce significantly in one month! Will update again 🥹
