I wanted to share my experience with G Clinic as simple and comprehensive as possible ;)

I’m travelling with my family to SK on the 4th Jan 2023. We stayed at Gangnam area. I had my appointment with Shinwoo from All About MEI and G Clinic on 5th Jan at 2.30pm. I’m travelling from my hotel using cab and reach the meeting spot (G Clinic) around 2.40pm, I’m lost for awhile (my 1st time travelling to Korea) but I managed to find my way (fuhhh! Thank god!). As I stood infront of the building (I am not sure which one is the building) Shinwoo came and approached me, and I was sooo sooo relieved (I’m in the right building afterall)

Arriving at G Clinic
The clinic located at 7 Floor - I entered the clinic, and there’s receptionists counter. Shinwoo helped me to let them know about my appointment and they pass me a form to fill up. Once I filled it up, the nurse/assistant ask me to change my clothes for the consultation with the doctor. Afterwards, the nurse bring me to measure my weight , bmi and fat percentage using inmode scale. It gave you the % of your bone, muscle, fat and bmi (which I found pretty amazing!)

Consultation with Dr.Hong from G Clinic
I waited for the doctor in the consultation room (Shinwoo is the to accompany me, Thank God! I was really nervous and scared!) Not long after that, a man introduced himself as Dr.Hong, and he will be the one doing the procedure. He examined my body area that he will perform mini liposuction - total of 6 parts (whole infront abdomen). He explained to me careful, the do and donts and what to expect after surgery. The consultation take approximately 30mins ish.

Preparation for Mini Liposuction
After the consultation, the nurse ask me to change back to my own clothes and bring me down to the treatment area (which located at different level of the building). During this time I am super super scared, my body is shaking and my heart beats soo fast as I have no idea what and how the procedure will be like. Shinwoo keep asking whether I am okay - I really feel ease a bit knowing someone will accompany me (seriously! Thank you Shinwoo from All About MEI!!) I arrive at the changing room, the nurse gave me a sport bra,and disposable panties to change. I walk to another room and Dr Hong came. He performed an ultrasound at my abdomen area to ensure there’s nothing weird inside - also he shown me whats under the skin which not only contains fats, theres other tissues too. After that, Dr Hong started to design and mark where will be the area for the mini liposuction.

Surgery time!
Before heading to the treatment room, the nurse ask me to take off my sport bra and wear only disposable panties. Once I was in the treatment room, the nurse ask me to lay down face up and lift up my hand up while they started to put the disinfection solution around my abdomen area. After that, Dr Hong came and explained to me that he will put me under GA (which make feel numb only at the treated area, I am wide awake during the procedure and still can make conversation with the doctor). There is 2 rounds of the procedures, the first round the doctor began to insert the cannula to put solutions inside my abdomen parts. During this time I don’t feel pain, but I felt like my tummy area being sucked from inside (like vacuum) it is not pain, just uncomfortable. However there is a time i feel like BIG needle pain poking around my waist area and upper abdomen where the skin is thin (there’s been “ouuchh thats hurt, doctor”moments, haha) At first, I thought the liposuction has started, but NO! the vacuum feeling around my abdomen area just now was only to inject the solutions. Dr Hong told me that I needed to wait for 5 mins to get the solution ready before he can start the procedure. 5 mins passed - And this is the 2nd round, Dr Hong came back inside and he told me that he will start the liposuction. The feeling during this round is more or less is the same, just that this time is more intense vacuuming /suction and theres time i feel like theres nothing left to be sucked anymore. Dr Hong was really good, he is so calm and from what I can tell he’s been doing this procedures million times! He knows what he do and very detailed person. After approximately 30-45mins, voila! Its done. Dr Hong shown me the total fat removed (its about 2,000 cc in liquid - pure fat in yellowish I dont see blood or reddish color in the bottle) The nurse helped me to clean after surgery and put a proper dressing for my wound (2 poking area at bikini line area - small enough not require stitches). After the procedures, I changed back to my clothes and I meet with Dr Hong for final round to get final advise, and he told me that the wound will get better in days and the leaking will be done by day 3. Before left the clinic, G Clinic furnish me with the some guidelines sheet for my references. I head down to pharmacy and get something for the wounds like bandages, antibiotics and others (The doctor does not prescribe any oral antibiotics for me as I on antibiotics even before the mini liposuction).

Post-Treatment Mini Liposuction.
After the procedures, I dont feel much pain just feeling shocked (as I successfully go through the procedure) and a little discomfort from the super thick wound dressing. I can feel a little stinging feeling around the wound area, but doesn’t bother me. Shinwoo from All About MEI helped me at pharmacy (telling the pharmacist what I needed) and he also help with my cab to the hotel. He make sure that I arrived at my hotel safety. Upon arriving at the hotel, I went for walking for about 3 hrs ( i feel bit uncomfortable, and I walk carefully - not like my ordinary walking) I reached my room and I realised that my pants was soaking wet from the solution leaking (since its winter, I hardly feel the leaking come down to my pants!). I changed my wound dressing (as I take off the bandages, the liquid come out from the liquid, I let it out for few minutes and start to clean in, apply the iodine and the water proof bandages)

So yeah, thats about it. Hope this helps others for whoever plan to do G Fat at G Clinic. TBH, I am 100% recommend this clinic since the doctor is very fluent in English, He is very calm, and definitely he knows what he’s doing. I really can put the trust on the doctor. And what I like the most is knowing someone is waiting for me, thank you Shinwoo , All About MEI and G Clinic insuring my safety is my top priority. Really appreciate the effort 🥰💕
