Hi!
I’ve had so much help from this group and wanted to provide my own experience. I had g-fat ultra, which I feel like I don’t see a lot of on here.
The first 2 pics are from before, next 2 are the day immediately after, and next 2 are current. For reference, I am 160cm and weigh 130lbs/59kg. I weightlift a lot and have a decent amount of muscle, which is in my legs. I have always had a ring of fat under my belly button even at my lowest weight of 95lbs/43kg, which I targeted for this procedure. I also had eyelid surgery done 2 days before this, which also was fine! I’m including this so everyone can know it’s ok to get multiple procedures within days of each other.
First of all, the people are AMAZING at what they do. Olivia and the g-clinic staff are very kind and patient, and are willing to work with you to meet your body goals. I highly recommend working with them, and if you’re looking for other procedures Olivia will help you find them too.
Secondly, if you are adverse to any sort of pain, please be aware that this does involve some in the beginning. The fact that there are such tiny holes means that those holes are used for EVERYTHING. From injecting anesthesia under every cm of your torso, to using the ultrasound machine, to suctioning it out.
(Gore warning)The anesthesia is the worst of it all, you can feel the needle injecting and tearing through the connective tissue of your skin and fat. The doc said it was because I exercised so the connective tissue was stronger and causing more pain-but on the flip side I would heal faster.
After the anesthesia it isn’t terrible, mainly uncomfortable as you can feel the ultrasound machine and the fat suctioning out. I had 1000cc taken out, and I got to see it!
The next 12 hours were pretty terrible, I highly recommend bringing adult diapers, maxi pads, and puppy pads-as well as someone that’s ok with seeing you super vulnerable and gross. You will leak nonstop, and it will SUCK and hurt a lot. Also there is nausea from all this, but that might be a personal issue with the medications.
The next morning, all but one hole had stopped leaking, and that one only required a maxi pad and some waterproof tape for the rest of the day. That day, I went to Namsan tower and got some shopping done, but nothing too strenuous.
I highly recommend getting a compression garment(mine is from Marena) to hold you in, since your skin feels so loose after all this. Between the surgery and coming home a week later, I managed to hike and take a train to daegu to see my family, and walk all over Seoul. This procedure stopped me from exploring for only 1-2 days, but I was very active the rest of the time and felt fine!
Fast forward to now, and you can see there are some bulges under my skin, especially the lower portion where my fat used to be. I’m pretty sure this is all fluid since it doesn’t feel like fat, but more like a weirdly solid mass. I’m upgrading to a tighter custom faja that’s coming in next week, and will be getting a lymphatic massage to see if that helps!
Anyways, I hope this helped at least someone that was considering this procedure. I would say it’s helped a lot with my body dysmorphia, but the pain was literally INSANE and the 11-16 hours after were really hard. So just something to consider, but all in all I’m really happy with this!
