Part 1: Consultation
Hello!
I was recommended this clinic by a friend and saw how seamless and quick the procedure was for them. I decided to book an appointment on my day off. Since I live and work in Korea, I didn’t have any time constraints regarding when I wanted the procedure done. My main goal was to see if the consultation could help me with my thighs—to find out if they could make the results look natural and to learn more about the pricing.
Service:
I had heard from others—and even my friend mentioned—that the receptionists could be a bit cold. However, they were actually quite normal and pleasant to me. The one who handled most of my consultation was kind and spoke minimal English.
After waiting for a bit, I took an InBody test, and then I met Dr. Hong. He had a very chill, laid-back demeanor and was very straightforward when discussing my concerns. He pointed out that my thighs weren’t “normal” because they didn’t hold fat together properly and seemed to be retaining a lot of fluid. Essentially, he told me I might have a mild case of lipedema.
He reassured me that the surgery could help reduce the size of my legs, but it would need to be a full thigh procedure—not just the inner thigh area I initially wanted.
He then gave me a detailed rundown of what to expect during the procedure and mentioned that afterward, I could pretty much return to my regular activities.
Pricing:
Even though there's a promotion going on, I was quoted 3.3 million KRW (₩3,300,000) for the procedure on both thighs, which would involve 12 points. Why so many? According to the receptionist, it’s because my thighs are quite large.
To some, that price might seem high; to others, it might be a steal. For me, on a teacher’s salary, it’s a significant amount—so I’ll need to figure out a payment plan or how to manage the cost. They also mentioned that a 10% deposit is required to schedule the procedure.
I didn’t take any pictures during the consultation, but I’ll share the body chart and mark the areas they discussed. For reference, I’m 176 cm (5'9") and 86 kg.
I’m still shopping around, but if I do proceed with this clinic—which is very likely—I’ll make a part 2. Thank you!
