For context i am 163cm tall and 68kg so my BMI is above normal. Areas that i did: armpits, arms, love handles, tummy, inner thighs. During consultation Dr Hong marked out the areas and they charge by per ‘palm’ size which came out to be very reasonable. I had to do 2 sessions as i needed some thigh fats for my forehead fat graft at another clinic. Fyi Dr Hong speaks excellent English. On the procedure day, they brought me downstairs to their rooms and took some photos and ultrasound. Dr Hong said my tummy is very fatty (LOL). I opted for GA as there are many areas to suck out the fats from. I panicked slightly when they tried to put the IV on my foot but luckily they couldnt find a vein so they changed to my arm instead 😅. They bathed me in iodine solution.. like i was covered neck to toe in brown iodine and the smell was.. WOW. Luckily within few seconds i was out and next thing i know they woke me up and brought me to the recovery room. The whole thing was painless but i was wrapped in so much paddings i had difficulty waddling back to my hotel. They did warn me that i would leak liquids but oh boyyyy leaking is an understatement. I was spurting liquids everytime i move and my friend had to help me buy $50 worth of towels from Daiso to cover my whole bed and floor. Recovery was tough too as literally my whole upper body was sore. I did the inner thighs under local anaesthesia and i was so nervous Dr Hong had to keep talking to me to calm me down 🥹 Overall i am quite satisfied with the results. Sometimes i wish he took out more fats but i dont know if my body can take it 😅. 2 months post op and i lost 5kg and went down 2 dress sizes despite eating kbbq 4x a week in Korea.
