One week update on G-fat for underarms, flank, and lower back.
The first 2 pics are from before and next 2 are current/1 week after. For reference, I am 163cm and weigh 195lbs/88kg. I did this 11 days after my other surgeries. I only did 3 blue regions x 2 sides. I received the promo G-fat price. I got the VAT refund at the airport minus a processing fee.
Olivia set up the consultation quickly. The G-clinic staff was friendly and spoke enough English to be 100% comfortable. Dr Hong was completely fluent in English and explained the ultrasound and which areas were not worth doing due to it being filled with more fibrous tissue or skin versus fat.
From consultation to ultrasound/photos to surgery is quick. Tiny pinch for local anesthesia and then the tiny hole made for the cannula. The pumping in of fluid feels a little weird. I only had 4 entry points on my back. Three out of four areas of suctioning was tolerable without any pain. Each lasted under 8 minutes I think. The one left flank had a few painful moments, but not enough to flinch. Afterwards, the leftover fluids were squeezed out by the nurse. She showed me the 1.2 liters of fat.😅 I got bandaged and wrapped with extra gauze and absorbent pads. I went to the pharmacy on the ground level and picked up a few things recommended.
I was lucky in that I didn’t leak like most others who posted results here. I slept on absorbent pads for 2 days without any stains. I removed the gauze and used waterproof bandages 2 days after and showered. Since I was alone, I used a coat hanger, mirrors, and lots of awkward bending to clean the areas with iodine and apply bandages 😅.
I started wearing a compression vest 2 days after surgery for 12 hours a day. It feels tender with very little bruising. I survived the 16 hour flight fine sitting on my 4 entry points. So far the chest has dramatically decreased. The flank and lower back feels empty, but isn’t as dramatic in photos. When wearing a shirt, I can really tell the difference.
I have already lost about an inch in the waist and 5 pounds from all my surgeries. Good luck!
