I had my breast augmentation at Grace Onyoung 🥳
Hi all, I finally had my breast augmentation today! I’m writing now from my home and I feel great. I am soo happy I did it, even though I hesitated a lot and was scared because it was my first surgery.
Let me describe the process from this morning. I arrived at the clinic around 9:30 AM to do final consultation with my surgeon Dr. Choi and get ready for the surgery. I was not allowed to eat any food for 8 hours before the surgery and it’s getting hot in Korea, so when the doctor examined my chest for the last time before surgery, I suddenly felt a heat wave and my head started spinning. 😵💫 I think I was nervous, too, and thought I was gonna pass out, but luckily I did not, because I told Dr.Choi immediately I was not feeling well and he took care of me right away and brought me to lay down in a room and calm down. I felt very safe and taken care of. Anyways, after a while I calmed down and felt better and we continued the consultation during which Dr. Choi drew on my chest to mark the incisions etc.
Shortly after that, I went through the post-op process with a consultant at the clinic and around 10:50 AM I was off to the surgery room! I felt nervous, but the staff was professional and I fell asleep like 5 seconds after being given the anesthesia 😃 Then I just remember that a nurse woke me up in a recovery room saying the surgery finished. I was the only one in the recovery room which was veeery comfortable and private. I felt a lot of pressure and pain on my chest right after waking up and I told the nurse and she said I already have painkillers dripping from the IV. It got much much better but the initial pain was suprising 🙀
Shortly after around 2 PM, I was already calling my parents and maybe around 5 PM, I was able to move a bit to go to the bathroom. I was released at 6 PM and felt surprisingly great except for the pressure on chest.
Now I’m home and I’m really surprised I’m recovering so well. Of course, I am tired, but it’s normal. I’m really looking forward to seeing my chest soon. I will keep you guys updated!
Wish me luck during my recovery, please 🙏
