Being a Singaporean, I am bilingual with English and Mandarin so I chose the mandarin translator when the English one is unavailable. The doctor was able to communicate in simple English but it would be good to have transparent clear communication nevertheless.

I arrived 1 hour earlier as my appointment was meant to begin at 5pm and I was happy to wait. There is only one doctor in the whole clinic and I understand his situation having to wait extra 30 mins for his consultation.

Honestly seeing him for the first impression, I felt at ease and he gives off the reliable vibe. I trust my gut and he further confirms my impression of him when he took out the gears to measure my eyelids. He is the ONLY doctor who really took his busy time out to consult with me and share his expertise for my eyelids. He doing all these just shows that he really cares about his patients and I’m not just another commission waiting to come.

It says a lot.

He even asked if I have any more questions and is sincere in his reply. The translator shares that he only does 2-3 operations per day to ensure quality over quantity. That is reassuring for me to hear. Even though he charges the highest among the three clinics I visited, I decided to choose this clinic based on the Surgeon’s expertise, sincerity and genuinity.

There’s only one doctor in this clinic so yeah~
