Boobs + Undereye @ Marble!
Background:
Totally new to the world of PS but due to some personal reasons I decided I should invest in myself and was introduced to this clinic by a friend’s friend. She was so convinced that this is the best boobs doc in Korea, so I did my online consultation through Olivia, and then poof off to korea I came! I was looking at boobs augmentation and something to correct my dark circles, but upon sending the pics to Olivia she recommended undereye fat repositioning instead as she said my undereye area was protruding and if I don’t correct it now I would need a more invasive surgery in future when it sags more. Apparently the undereye fat repositioning would help to lighten the shadows under the eyes due to the fat bulging so I didn’t mind checking it out.
Consultation Day
Clinic was crowded with locals and some Chinese and Japanese. (I even saw a high school kid who was there with her mum!) I was probably the oldest there haha. Min was my translator and she’s the sweetest girl ever. I felt very assured having her around despite it being my first time at any PS clinics. I came alone to Korea for the surgeries and she really made me feel very well taken care of. Her English is perfect! She made sure she got down my preferences and would always check in with me if everything was alright.
Dr Seo was my boobs doctor and Dr Suh was my eye doctor. Both were super professional and I’m amazed at how they both could tell one side of my rib cage + eye socket was protruding more than the other just by touching a little here and there. Dr Seo was also very honest and explained to me very patiently what could and couldn’t be changed. He also took measurements and drew for me to see what would be the ideal outcome as I’ve asymmetrical boobs. I like that he was very thorough and although we both couldn’t understand each other, I could tell that he was very sincere and really wanted to make me pretty. I chose Motiva even before I flew here because of the reviews I’ve seen online and that it was supposedly the implant of the least rupture rate. Quite an eye opener when Dr Seo showed me different shapes of implants, I always thought they were just different sizes but there were also things like angles. So the same size implant could have different angles to suit your body shape. I’ll skip the diagnosis of my boobs haha but eventually Dr Seo recommended two different sized implants to balance out my body.
Dr Suh had a grandfatherly air around him haha. He’s not that old in reality hahaha but I like that he felt very kind. He was also very forthcoming in telling me that I’ve slightly more fats than others under my eyes so he will remove some, but if there’s too much fat removal it could result in wrinkles forming easily, and I appreciate the honesty.
I was comfortable with them both so of course I proceeded with the surgeries the next day◡̈
Surgery Day!!
I had like four or five different people looking at my boobs (to take pic, draw + operation personnel etc) hahaha it was awkward but they were all so professional about it. I felt like an art canvas when Dr Seo was drawing on me and measuring things again. I didn’t and couldn’t look at what he was drawing, because right after that I was guided to the operation theatre. Was super super duper nervous + super scared of pain haha. But once the anesthetic tube was inserted and they told me to open my mouth to breathe, I was out in under three breaths. When I woke, all was done and Min was calling out to me. I couldn’t even remember how I got to the bed, Min said I walked by myself lolol but I don’t remember any of it. Boobs were wrapped super tightly in bandage, and I actually felt very secure. Eyes were blurry and I sat for quite abit in the clinic lobby before Min helped to hail a cab. That sweet girl even helped to collect my medicine from the pharmacy because I couldn’t really walk or orientate myself.
Day 7 - post op
I Hvnt showered for 7 days HAHA soooo I’m glad I’m here when it’s cold!! Tip for anyone coming for boobs surgery - come when it’s cold please, if not you’ll prob smell after so many days of non showering. I’ve just removed stitches about ten hours back and all seems ok, except for this blue black patch in the middle of my boobs. Kinda hurts, and the skin is quite tender. Dr Seo saw me again and said it’s not an internal injury, seems like a skin problem due to the stretching and thinning so it should be fine if I put moisturizing creams on it. I hope he’s right!! Boobs size wise I’m happy, I’m a small frame naturally so I didn’t go for exorbitantly big boobs. He also taught me how to massage the boobs so that it would be more balanced due to my protruding rib cage.
Dr Suh also saw to my undereye area and as usual reminded me of my grandfather haha. No makeup for at least a month though, and the swelling would take about 3-6 months to heal. To be honest I can’t really tell it’s swollen other than the fact that if I touch the undereye area it is abit tender. Skin was all grossed out/ wrinkly from the tape but after a shower and toner+serum+moisturizer, all’s good! The undereye area seems flatter, I kinda feel like my face got abit longer🤣
All in all satisfied so far!! Especially after my shower after one entire week. Can’t wait for my body to get accustomed to the implants and for my undereye area to heal properly!
