Dark circles may appear because of skin pigmentation or temporary fatigue. However dark circles may also appear because of under eye fat, which is caused by aging. As aging occurs, the membrane that protects the under eye fat weakens, and pushing the fat outwards, resulting a bumpy and dark under eye.
