Things to know before and after Korean double eyelid surgery!
Before double eyelid surgery:
- Smoking and alcohol consumption is not allowed 3 days before surgery, and please fast (including water) 8 hours before the surgery.
- It is recommended to not consume hemostasis preventing medication 2 weeks before surgery, and please inform the medical team if there are any medications your are taking.
- Please remove makeup, contact lenses, nail polish on the day of the surgery.

- You may feel discomfort opening your eyes few days after surgery
- Swelling, bruises and bleeding may present after surgery. If bleeding occurs, do not panic and stop the bleeding with gauze.
- Do not rub or irritate the surgical area. Simple makeup is allowed 10 after surgery.
- For swelling and bruise treatment, it is recommended to do cold compress 3~4 days after surgery, and warm compress 5~7 days after surgery.
- Smoking and consumption of spicy food is not allowed for 1 month after surgery.
