Rhinoplasty and Chin at Marble
A little about me I am an American from New York but living in Korea!
First off, everything went the way it should. The results look and feel great! The results are actually better than I expected! Although, this may not be the final result I can say that if it was I am very satisfied. There were other appealing clinics out there in Seoul but I felt most comfortable at Marble. I am sure the other clinics are just as great but I strongly advise everyone to do heavy research as I did so that you don't have any doubts when choosing a clinic.
I decided to have surgery to improve my look but I always felt ok with my old look! However, we all would like to improve ourselves if we can and that's what I did!
How did I choose Marble? I choose this Plastic Surgery clinic based on 4 factors main factors when I was comparing between other clinics!
1. Cleanliness
It seemed the most clean facility out of all the plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam, Seoul I had visited.
2. Professionalism
There was not a moment when I felt that I was being "pushed a long or rushed". All my questions was answered and not glossed over. Often after the surgery I was checked on and I could ask further questions if needed.
Staff was nice and respectful.
I was guided on what to "do" and "not" when eating, moving, talking, ect...
These two doctors, Dr. Kim Jun Hyung and Dr. Seo, were very transparent about the surgery. All my questions were answered! They offered genuine opinions vs what I wanted and that also helped me with the direction of what I wanted from the surgeries.
3. Translation
The translator's English was spoken well and clear.
4. Reputation
I checked many reviews of Marble and other companies. All reviews were decent over all. Therefore, I wouldn't let one bad review scare you away.
This post is exactly 1 months post operation with Dr. Kim Jun Hyung and Dr. Seo from Marble Plastic Surgery
Surgery after 1st day:
- Nose tip has dropped
- Nose tightness was not so bad
- Can touching the nose wasn't painful
- Could start to see a little of the form of the nose with the bandages on.
Surgery after 2 weeks:
- I was still swollen but didn't feel much pain
- hard nose tip but I was told that was normal by the staff at Marble
- My chin felt stiff but that wasn't so bad. If you press the chin you could feel pain and tenderness slightly
- No longer wearing the facial compression garment
- only pain I felt was when the tissue was removed from the nose. However, it wasn't too bad!
Conclusion
The most difficult part for me was to not go to the gym or go running after the surgery. For some of you who are deeply into fitness as I am it will be very challenging not to go to the gym for a month. I think that its something that is needed to take in consideration when having this surgery. The staff told me from the start that I would not be able to go to the gym but I did not realize how hard it would be for me lol Therefore, anyone who is pretty active physically should be prepared for "runner's high" and "lack of gym activity" since our bodies crave it when they are not active.
I am going back for a small session and I already have recommended Marble to other friends of mines who are American and Korean! Any questions just ask me....as I know many American and more are very careful about these things! I have no regrets! Marble is amazing. I'll post more casual pictures later....sorry grad school is very busy lately!
Regards
And thank you again to Dr. Kim Jun Hyung and Dr. Seo from Marble Plastic Surgery!
