The flight home was the part I didn’t expect to feel nervous about
I spent far too much time worrying about the consultation and almost none thinking about the airport.
Then, on the morning of my flight home, I suddenly wondered if my face still looked puffy, whether the cabin would make my skin feel worse, and how I was going to manage my suitcase without irritating my jawline.
In reality, nobody looked twice.
Security was uneventful, my skin survived the flight, and the most difficult part was the check-in queue.
I’d created a much more dramatic airport scene in my head than the one that actually happened.
Did anyone else feel strangely nervous about flying home?
