All you need to know about Cosmetic Surgery and aftercare
Hi! Beautiful people..hope you have wonderful and blessed day today. By the way i would like to share some tips for people considering to undergo any cosmetic surgery i want to share some tips and awareness to what should you do before the surgery. Guys i would like to advice you that im not an expert or specialist im just sharing so far what ive learned to help others. Thanks hope it would beneficial to those planning having any cosmetic surgery.
First is Pre-Operative Guidelines for plastic surgery patients.
1.Stop smoking for atleast 1 month prior to surgery. Oops that was kinda hard eventhough i dont smoke for those who smoke it maybe hell just kidding haha..well there is saying you need to sacrifice to gain something in return.
2.Discontinue any medications there is no specific brand but any blood thinner related medicine or supplements are not allowed 1 week after surgery. Again i want to remind you guys that im not a specialist nor an expert about this matter. i just want to share what ive learned so it
will also help others.
3.Tell to your attending Doctor if you have flu or any related infection. Week before surgery so there will be no complications.
4.Fill your prescription before the day of your surgery. Reason behind this is after the surgery for some patiens not all may experience forgetfulness up to 36 hours of post-op and during narcoric use.also to avoid nausea eat food before take any medications.
5.Also if your prone to nausea or motion sickness please notify the doctor so proper treatment will be applied before and after your surgery.
6.Constipation..if you experienced constipation after surgery its actually normal dont panic okay..reason is the anesthesia slows down the gastro intestinal tract in short it affects metabolism temporarily. Also drink a lot of fluids like water and eat fruits before and after surgery.
7. Menstrual Cycle some of women may experience a lighter changes on their menstrual cycle after the surgery..guys again its completely normal as study shows. But any discomfort you feel you can contact your doctor as well.
So this is few of Pre-Operative Guidelines hope it would help see you next time.bye peace and God bless us all.
