Hello, It's me Deb.
I'm here to have a bit of a vent 😆. So loving in Seoul, I'm always on the look out for the best promos and love to see what deals are being offered at various clinic. This way I get to receive a great deal AND experience various clinics.
There was one clinic that I won't name, I don't think there on here anyway, but they had crazy amazing looking promos. I made a reservation today. And I did get the promos I wanted, but that was ONLY because I kept stubbornly telling them I only came for the promos. Each time I told them I wanted something (like b*tox) they tried to sell me their "premium" more expensive one. But I'd say, actually I want your promo I saw online. And each time they'd tell me why that option was not as good. I'd say, I don't care. (I'm not a celebrity 😆 ) I want the cheaper one, which I can afford. Same with filler. They tried to sell me the 99,000 won filler but I told them I knew and wanted the 49,000 filler. They didn't really even mention it until I did myself.
So a lesson for people new to Korean clinics. Always research prices beforehand online because a lot of times they will try to sell you their premiums. I always go to places I research for that reason because they can't trick me. So, even though they acted friendly with me, I cannot say I would consider that clinic good or trustworthy because of how they kept trying to upscale. They wanted me to spend more than half of what I spent.
In conclusion, I got good deals today but that's ONLY because I researched a head of time and told them I wanted the promos repeatedly.
Also, the medication was ₩30,000 won for 3 days!! That's more expensive than my ADHD medication for 3 weeks! Is that normal? I don't think so.
It sucks to feel like a foreigner who gets taken advantage of. Especially since Korea is my home, like I'll always be this outsider.
Stay smart and strong y'all 💪
The pictures: Today I got b*tox on the wrinkles between my eye lids, and I got chin filler and b*tox again as well. It was my first time getting b*tox on my crows line, I think is what it's called. The wrinkles by my eyes. They told me that part might bruise for a few days.
