Can I take one week off only? Will my family notice my double eyelid surgery after 2 weeks? Can I hide it? Those were all the questions that went trough my head before my surgery and maybe this is also the case for you so I will briefly anwser it. The short answer is, yes, at least for my case I wasn’t able to hide my surgery from my family and coworkers. These pictures are 14 days after, and there is still bruising and you can see a very visible scar when I close my eyes. I would say that it took a good month for my surgery to become ‘invisible’ to others. Take in mind that I got non-incisional double eyelid surgery, so the recovery is a lot longer for the incisional type.
