My not so practical preparation for my PS journey in Korea
Hello everyone - I just want to share my not so practical preparation for my plastic surgery journey on korea on July. I am quite anxious about it so i just want to be more social online.
Background: I am on my early 30s living in Australia, last December 2019 i had an aneurysm that caused me to have walking disability. Aside from undergoing super major operation (crainotomy - removing part of the skull to remove the pressure then put it back the skull back on). Extreme right? Yeah it is. The reason why i decided to go to South Korea even i haven’t been there is to be honest i just want to be willful and of course i want to regain my self esteem and confidence back. Besides, the incident makes me realise that you will only live once.
Anyway back to the topic :)
April:
1. I started googling clinics however somehow big clinics SEO is so strong that I only see their ads that’s where i come across a forum, I cannot remember if it’s reddit but i learned i will know alot of clinics through purseforum.
2. I joined purseforum. That’s where I learned about gangnamunni. I inquired about the promotions but the promotions were only available to locals
3. I came across this one clinic for rhinoplasty and deposited 100usd. They seems to upsell a lot, so i choose not to go with them even i paid a small deposit and i found VG.
4. VG (Very good) plastic surgery clinic is very prompt on their reply and they are really catering on my request. They even decided to do an online pre consultation with the doctor which i really appreciate. Also, they don’t try to upsell you other procedures.
5. Start taking Ferol(iron), Vitamin A, probiotics, magnesium, anti constipation, glutathione aside from my usual multivitamins, collagen hyrolonic acid and 2k mg of vitamin C.
6. Had my flu vaccine.
7. Applied for korean tourist visa
May
1. I paid deposit to VG and 1 other clinic
2. Book my work leave, somehow it become a trend to do more than 3 weeks leave lol then after that Book my flight and accomodation.
3. I discovered all about mei through purseforum - it’s frustrating, i really hope i discovered this app early.
4. I had my 5th covid shot (3rd booster)
5. I bought a korean esim i hope it still works since i buy it too early.
6. Buy clothes to bring to korea, i know it’s silly since I can just buy clothes in korea.
June
1. Silly - i just bought a Samsung phone and I bought the one that is esim compatible, hopefully i can return it after the korea trip.
2. Sillier than # 1 - I bought an refurbished old surface laptop 😳 to file my taxes on July.
3. Downloaded necessary apps - i already downloaded some apps before I decided to go to korea -
Communication - Kakaotalk, Line
Transportation - Uber, Kakao-T, Tada
Food Delivery - Shuttle
Map - NaverMap
