UPDATES ON OUR SURGERY
Hi everyone!
I’m back to give some updates!
DAY 8 - REMOVE STITCHES YAY
I’ve been told by many friends that removing stitches is the most painful part of the entire PS journey and was told to be mentally prepared. This definitely made me nervous and I took painkillers 30 minutes before getting my stitches removed. I was expecting the kind of pain that you would probably remember for the rest of your life xD
To be honest, it wasn’t that painful. It’s totally bearable. Rhino stitches, brow lift stitches, DES stitches, lateral/lower canthoplasty stitches are not painful at all. Epicanthoplasty stitches did sting a little, and I tear a little but it’s totally bearable. Maybe the painkillers helped a little and the nurse that removed the stitches was really careful and gentle! (The process gave me more courage to do the bigger surgeries. Now I can’t wait to get FC done xD)
As for My husband - he has yet to remove his stitches but he’s recovering well! He is able to eat solid foods now. The discomfort only lasts for 3 days.
(Katie & Lina from MINE, and Olivia & Mr Kang from AllAboutMei has been really helpful throughout and we are super grateful for them! They made sure that we are doing fine the entire time & sent us thoughtful gifts that will help during our recovery process. Thank you so much! & thanks for making my first ever PS surgery experience a wonderful one!)
Right now I am on Day 11 Post-Op, and I’m super satisfied with the results! The entire process has been nothing but smooth and satisfactory. I showed my friends the results and they want to do it too xD Guess we are gonna plan for our next PS trip soon!
Regards
KM
