The Korean Government has announced that starting Nov 1st  the quarantine period has shortened to 10 days from 14 days!

Unvaccinated travelers for long stay: PCR test document + Covid test within 1day at health center + 10-day self-quarantine + Covid-test before quarantine is over

Unvaccinated travelers for short stay: PCR test document + 10-day quarantine at set-up area +Covid-test before quarantine is over

Travelers from high risk countries:

(Republic of South Africa, Tanzania, Chile, Peru, Myanmar : PCR test within 1 day of entering + 5 day quarantine in set-up area + 5 day self-quarantine )

(India, Brazil, Africa (South Africa, Tanzania excluded): PCR test at temporary facility + 10 day self-quarantine

Vaccinated Travelers:

Must be able to show documents showing that they have been vaccinated and are negative for the PCR test. 

Process: Enter Korea -> Hand in documents for vaccination and PCR test -> move to address (can use all public transportation) -> get tested for covid at a health center in your district within 1 day -> wait 1 day at home for results -> free from quarantine! -> must get additional covid testing  on the 6~7th day at health center

** 2 weeks must pass after the final vaccination ( ex. vaccinated on 09/01 -> can enter Korea after 9/16) 

**COVID-19 PCR test results must be within 72 hours of departure time

**Test results must be printed out
