FACIAL CONTOURING SURGERY (V LINE, JAWLINE SQUARE JAW REDUCTION AND CHIN)

This is a review after 6 months of my Facial Contouring Surgery which is V-line, genioplasty chin, and square jaw. The surgeon is Dr. Shin-Young Song. I had Facial Contouring surgery with Dr. Song in December 2022. It is now May 1st, 2023 that I am writing this (6 months post-op) I Out of frustration and a warning to all patients who seek Dr. Song for facial contouring, Vline, and chin surgery.- please, please be informed of my honest and disappointing review. They had communicated with me a lot with many many texts, back and forth. I wired a deposit of 1 million KRW. I told them I wanted Vline on my chin, square jaw reduction, and a Sharp jawline.  I came to Korea and had a consultation with Dr.Song. As usual, the consultation is very rushed and quick. He seems busy and in the middle of an operation. He didn’t ask me if I had any questions. He didn't ask me how short I wanted, how many mm, how many reductions, or what the expectations were. I showed him some pictures and he just ignored me and said:” Trust me, I will do my best”. Well, he ignores seeing the pictures. And his face was different. He thinks that I show him a picture so that he is not capable of doing it, He looks at me so differently and treats me differently. I was uncomfortable from that point already. People show pictures because it's how they want to be not to judge your profession. Having ego and personal baggage like this, will not make him a successful doctor.
After the surgery, The result was horrible. I can see my old face and I can feel it. Even I tried to tell him that he didn't do it properly but he ignored me. He didn’t shave it properly. I feel like he just shaved 0.00000001 mm. Because I can definitely feel the difference in my facial bone from 30 years ago. The highlight is he didn’t do my chin at all. There is no “V” at all. My chin is still in the U shape from before. The facial contouring surgery included a Square jaw,  V-line, and chin but he didn’t do my chin at all. I found out this a few days after the surgery, I tried to inform Katie and she said wait for 6 months. I was really uncomfortable because I can definitely feel my chin from before. Then before going back to Australia, I found out that my chin is not straight, it was going on the left side and it is not a v-line.  But they just gave me a silly reason that this is because of my previous double jaw surgery. If that is so, why wouldn't they tell me this before commencing the surgery? They have already done my CT scan before the surgery. They access it and can advise it. If it is because of double jaw surgery, or can’t get desired results, they should inform me earlier so that I will perform this surgery. But they just remained silent and took my money and didn’t do the surgery on my chin or any v line and then later gave me excuses for a previous surgery. They are just scammers and just want money, that's all. I’ve never claimed that I liked any of Dr Song's surgeries on me, I literally had to beg to reverse a couple of things he did to me, and now I have to live with the mess he has done.

If ANYONE IS CONSIDERING V-LINE, There are many skilled doctors in the Seoul area. Perhaps I would suggest other experienced and skilled surgeons in Seoul. PLEASE THINK HARDER ABOUT THE SURGERY. Everyone, be careful when choosing a clinic.  You will also not ever get a direct answer to any of your questions except, "wait and be patient" versus answering any questions with specificity. None, just wait. Terrible reassurance. Really? Would make patients feel a little relief if you could entertain spending 5 minutes over the phone after they’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars with international visits. Do not waste your time with the inexperienced doctor and ruin your face.  I urge you to please be careful with whom you allow to work on your face. If I could go back in time, I would NEVER have allowed him to operate on me.
