TLDR:2nd round of ONDA at Yeonsei Reum. There was some slight mostly localized pain(minor). ONDA was followed by an LDM treatment on the same area. Slight aching afterwards for 1-2 hours(minor). Significant results yet to develop(should be visible around 2 weeks)

Went into Yonsei Reum clinic for my 2nd round of ONDA this past weekend. Unlike last time there were no injections paired with this one so I think we’ll get to see a little better how the ONDA treatment does on its own.

As mentioned in prior comments the doctor mentioned that ONDA is most visually effective when done 3-4 times(that’s the supposed “sweet spot”)

When talking beforehand with the ALL ABOUT MEI representative he mentioned that there’s a assumption that the results show 10% change each time but in reality it gets a little higher with each session (example: 1st-10%, 2nd-15%, 3rd-20% for a total of 35-40% change)(these numbers are not exact).


Now the actual treatment:

Like last time there was still the surface coldness where the device touched the skin with the heat from the microwaves reaching about 7-8mm below that. So definitely hot and cold feeling.

It was a little bit more uncomfortable this time for me. The discomfort being a point on my chin where the “heat” compounded and was slightly painful.

Not sure if this is related either but there was some slight soreness/aching for an hour or two afterwards. It wasn’t major so I mostly ignored it.

After the ONDA I got LDM treatment on the jawline area which is supposed to help with skin rejuvenation I believe. It felt like nothing at first but you could hear a faint hum from the attachments.

Post treatment:

As expected I don’t see much change yet but it takes time so we’ll see. Pictures of before, right after, and 4 days post are provided above for reference.
