Eyes + Nose Review (1 Week Post-Op)
Hi everyone!
I am here to review Ruby PS.
I had my consultation with Dr. Lee and Jiyu (English consultant) a little less than two weeks ago. It was around 2 hours long total but my time with the doctor himself was only 20 minutes due to his busy schedule. No CT scans were done either, but that wasn’t an issue. We discussed doing the following:
1. Ptosis Correction + Natural Adhesion + Medial Epicanthoplasty
2. Rhinoplasty w/Tip Plasty + Donated Rib Cartilage + Donated Dermis
3. Mole Removal
I originally came only for my eyes but I decided to do my nose last minute to address my deviated septum. Dr. Lee recommended tip plasty to correct my short nose and fix the deviated septum a little, donated rib for the tip plasty, and donated dermis to support the tip. Donated dermis was recommended only because I refused to have anything done on my nose bridge and did not want a silicone implant. I think the consultation ended up taking longer because I had such a hard time deciding whether or not to do my nose. Jiyu was the one who ended up convincing me and explaining to me the procedure process (she was very personable and involved!). The consultation ended with me signing a bunch of papers and paying for my surgery. I booked the surgery itself the following Wednesday.
It’s been a week since surgery day and the recovery has been a breeze! I had two follow-up visits: one the day after the surgery and one 7 days after the surgery. I also had two other visits in between for deswelling light treatment and surgery site cleaning through their great nurse Yun Suk. You can visit daily for these aftercare services but I lived far away.
I finally removed stitches today and saw Dr. Lee and everyone else one final time. Pictures 1-2 are my before pictures. Pictures 3-8 are the pictures I took today. I am very satisfied with my result so far. I asked for natural and Dr. Lee delivered! I’m not even sure if you can tell if I did anything based on my B&A photos! The biggest plus is the fact that I can breathe so much better now. My eyes and nose are still really swollen so stay tuned for the final result.
