I visited Ruby Hospital after seeing other reviews about getting lip fillers here. The doctors and consultants were all friendly and spoke English well, they were extremely thorough examining my face and explaining the procedures. Dr. Lee even came for a consultation before the procedure to give recommendations before I decided. The English consultant Rainbow was really helpful with translating and I didn’t feel rushed making decisions about the procedures. Consultation I ended up getting Lip Filler using Juvederm, Nasiolabial Folds using the Korean brand filler, and b*tox in 4 areas. I initially booked this appointment through All About MEI because of the filler promotion. However, during the consultation I did feel as though the consultant was trying to upsell me to the most expensive foreign brand filler and felt a little bit of pressure to get the other areas I asked about during the consultation. So be prepared when going into the consultation that they may try to upsell you. Procedures For the procedure, I really don’t like the popular Korean M shape lip filler trend and find it hard to find doctors here who won’t do that shape. My lip shape is not the way I want it look due to previous filler treatments at other hospitals. The doctor at Ruby explained exactly where he would inject the filler to create the shape I wanted and was able to achieve a more western style lip filler shape. During the procedure Dr. Lee checked multiple times if I was happy with the shape and added more to areas I was concerned about. Another area of concern was my forehead b*tox, I noticed when I would get forehead b*tox before my eyelids would feel extremely heavy and it would be uncomfortable. The translator told these concerns to the doctor and he suggested that he will only target the upper area of my forehead to avoid the heaviness. A week and a half post treatment, the b*tox is working and I feel zero heaviness in my eye area! I’m really please about this. Post-Treatment They also give you a prescription for post treatment to help with pain and swelling. My lips were bruised and swollen for 5-6 days after the procedure. I did have one small bruise below my eye at the b*tox injection site. I can feel 2-3 small harder lumps in my lips where filler was injected, so I will see if they continue to soften as I heal. If I was still in Seoul, I would probably go into the hospital for the doctor to massage out. Overall I am happy with my new lips shape, it is exactly what I asked for and my best experience I’ve had getting lip fillers in Seoul. I am also happy with my b*tox and filler next to my nose. This clinic is pricier for b*tox compared to the smaller cosmetic clinics, but I would go back again because of my experience with the staff and the doctor.
