REVIEW: Rhinoplasty, Zygoma reduction and V-line surgery experience (Three months post-op)
Biggest difference I am happy about since the last review is facial mobility. I can smile easily, eating is back to normal, crying is ok without "stinging" in the nose and frowning isn't painful (I think that was from the implant) and a few more things has changed:
- Nose leakages has really slowed down
- Features starting to look more defined, and somewhat natural
- Still waking up swollen, ESPECIALLY my nose (I'm still wearing a face compression garment at night but was advised to not use anything to compress nose swelling)
- Still laying propped up on multiple pillows for de-swelling
- Healing has become more of a psychological challenge waiting for results to come through and face looking different daily and throughout the day.
- People say i look younger than my age
Just 2 main concerns that I'm hoping will change in the next few months with my nose, and as the swelling goes down throughout the day:
1. I think my silicone implant makes my nose have an unnatural look when i smile. My nose feels tight.
2. 'Piggy nose'. I know its a normal thing straight after surgery. Now i'm 3 months post op and it's still apparent I feel more worry than patience to be completely honest.
I know I have been advised from the beginning to give it 6 months to 1 year to see final result so I am trying to be patient.
I will post another update in another few months ❤️
