3 months after cheekbone reduction
Hi everyone, here is my review 3 months after cheekbone surgery at Ruby.
Over the 3 months the swelling went down so much. I feel like I have no more swelling, but I do feel a little bit puffy when I wake up in the morning. I would say that 90% of my swelling was around my cheeks and bottom face. More particularly between the corner of my mouth and the nostrils.
I forgot to write it in my first review, but the lower lid of my left eye was numb for about a month. It is now back to normal.
You can definitely feel the pins when you press on tour cheekbone with your fingers but you can’t see them with a naked eye. I feel like the doctor did a pretty great job with the symmetry considering that my face is pretty naturally asymmetrical.
I’m overall satisfied with the results, but I don’t think I would do it again. The results are subtle which I like but the recovery is hard and even harder on your self esteem if you are not that confident in yourself.
Also, don’t forget about the hidden cost that are not written on the promo. 500,000krw added for general anesthesia and 300,000krw for medical checkup. The operation will run you about 4,510,000krw and not 3,300,000 + 10% vat as advertised (3,630,000krw).
The staff is however the best, I can’t say anything about that. The nurse and Jenny were literally the best and I can almost consider them as friends since they accompany you all along the way.
I will continue to update around the 6 months marks and it will definitely continue to improve with time! I can’t wait to come to Korea again : ) !
