Hello Everyone !! I would like to share my experience and recovery of a “revision” nose surgery with saero plastic surgery! I want to start with mentioning that I had my primary rhinoplasty in october 2022. During the first three months i was satisfied with the surgery however once the swelling truly went away I saw the real results of the surgery.. Uneven, lumpy, strange looking nose.. I tried my best not to think too much about it but i finally felt that it would be best to get a revision. My main concern, the bridge of my nose and slightly my tip!!!! When arriving at Saero plastic surgery my first impressions were that it was a small clinic which is good and that it seems like a place local people like. The front staff are also very kind. My translator Joanne was truly amazing and one of the sweetest people ever!! So i felt very lucky she was there. When i consulted with the doctor, i talked about my concern in straightening out my nose bridge and filling in the missing gaps also how i want a natural result, i was expecting this surgery to require cartilage or silicon as most surgery does however he recommended dermis, which i never even considered. The doctor also advised that it would be non-incision which means that instead of cutting under your nose they cut from the inside!! This actually made me very excited because I hear that non incision allows for faster recovery, less swelling, ans best of all no scar, which all is very true. I had also asked about any other recommendations about my nose or tip that should be addressed but the doctor said that no further things need to be done. It was a super quick consultation so i did feel a bit rushed and worried. As far pricing goes I did pay a promotional price however one thing i’m still confused about is that I was originally quoted a price for revision add on price + bridge + tip however my surgery only consisted of revision of the bridge and no tip work done at all.. Aside from this, I remember waking up and feeling as if my nose had been hit super super hard lol. I was required to take 5 days worth of medication ans apply ointment inside of my nose. The first 3 days the swelling wasn’t that bad but days 4-5 looked the worst to me. After the 5 days the taping and cast came off. I was shocked at how fast it was since every place usually is 7-10 days. When i looked at the mirror for the first time i couldn’t help but smile super big because this is what i had wanted from my first surgery :’) After two weeks I returned for a check up and everything seemed perfect. The only thing i was experiencing was soreness around the incision inside the nose. I was advised that the last of swelling goes to the tip so expect it to look a bit big. I also want to mention that experienced no sense of numbness in any part of my nose. I was worried that wouldn’t be able to feel my nose for a while so this was an extra bonus. The clinic also offers free light therapy and 3 sessions of oxegon therapy. In returning back home i was surprised no one could tell or point out that i had gotten surgery. I was just told that i look prettier but unsure what exactly changed hahaha. I believe this a big point becausw it shows that the doctor successfully did surgery and had natural results. As of now the inside incision doesn’t feel sore anymore and the swelling as substantially improved. There is definitely still swelling that has gone to the tip area but should be fine by 5 weeks and of course improve over time. One last thing i’d like to add is that since no tip work was done i somehow now feel that by straightening out the bridge it’s made my nose look *longer* and a little *droopy*. regardless I am very very very happy and satisfied this far with the outcome , doctor and clinic and would highly recommend visiting this clinic for your nose surgery.
