did mine 3 weeks ago. writing the actual timeline bc the clinic info definitely skip week 2.

week 1 - mostly fine honestly, more uncomfortable than painful, the drains are worse than the incision itself
week 2 - this is when it hit me. swelling got WORSE not better and i genuinely panicked thinking something was wrong. it wasnt apparently, just normal, but nobody warns you
week 3 - noticeably better, walking upright more, drains finally out

posting this so someone else doesn't panic the way i did at week 2. ask away if anyone's got questions, been through it recently so its fresh
