Here is my first review for my facial fat grafting and nose tip surgery at Shinsang. I wanted to share a lot of pictures, but also how the recovery process went, what I liked/ did not like and so on… So voilà! The results I went for: I went for extremely natural results, I wanted a higher nose tip, but not too pointy. I got fat injected into my chin, under-eye area and also forehead to give my face more dimensions Surgery day: Firstly, I really suggest you to pay in cash for your surgery. For some reasons, my card was working everywhere else except at Shinsang. I had to use another card with a low limit and so on. Processing the payment was hard and I almost died of a heart attack. So…. make sure to bring a least 2 type of payment. For the surgery itself, I was on sleeping anesthesia and I met the doctor just before going into the surgery room to discuss my expectations. I told him that I wanted really natural results and he answered all my questions. We went in the surgery room after and I was quite surprised that he did not mark my face beforehand for the fat grafting and nose surgery. I fell asleep extremely quickly and woke up without any pain in my face which I was quite surprised. Marie helped me to buy the medication and I went home right after that. After the surgery / beginning of the recovery : the first day after the surgery, my face felt really stiff and I was not able to move my brows, the fat felt really hard. They tape your nostrils together as you can see on the picture so it’s a little bit uncomfortable and you need to breathe with your mouth. My nose was also extremely runny. I went to the clinic and they untied my nostrils. They also did a deswelling treatment on my face. You will not have a nose cast, but they do put tape on your tip and bridge for 7 days. I did not had any bruising on my nose. For the fat grafting, there is no stitching, only hydrocolloid bandages that fell off on the 2-3 days. There was only a little bit of bruising on my chin and on my under eyes area. My face did not really change from day 2 to 7, I only noticed that I lost a little bit of fat on the chin and forehead area, I would say about 40-50%. For the under eyes area, I did not see any fat disappearing. Take note that I went for fat grafting with P1P added. 7th day/ stitches out!!! : on the 7th day, the stitches and the tape on my nose were removed and we did a second deswelling treatment. You can see the last two pictures are the before and after! I am so happy with the nose line! From the front it look very similar, but the side profile it’s a lot higher. I had an open tip surgery, so there is a little scar, but I’m sure it will fade a little bit. For the fat grafting, I don’t see a huge difference excepting the under eyes. The doctor did a check-up and was there to answer all my questions even tough he looked so busy. Marie and Esther where there all along to help me and they aven gave me face masks as a gift when they saw how dry my skin was. They are so precious. They also did the form for the tax refund so I can get it back at the airport. I was really pleased with my experience and I think that the Shinsang team is really their strength. They are always there for you and they did not try to sell me unnecessary surgery/treatment.
