I went to Shinsang for:

- mini mid face lift (promotion)
- apple lift (promotion)
- lateral canthoplasty
- temple lift

I was inspired to try Shinsang because of their promotions.
My surgeon was Lee, Young Jae.

I can post another post with face photos after I heal (because I'm only 3rd day after surgery while posting this, so I'm still swollen)

Staff:

When I arrived to Korea, their translator Marie helped me with everything, she is so sweet!
The consultant is also so lovely! She didn't pressure me into anything. She even went out of her way and gave me some added skin injections when I had to postpone my surgery for a few hours, which was so nice and generous.
The surgeon (Lee, Young Jae) is very sensible, knowledgable, extremely easy to talk to. He seemed to care a lot about my results satisfaction and recovery. I was worried that my apple cheek lift was slipping/sagging after a few days, because my cheeks are so heavy and I have bad cheek bone structure. While having my second surgery (temple lift), he checked my cheeks again for me, and offered a touch up for free of charge. I was so happy about that.

Results:

The apple lift completely changed my face, I was SO in love with my new face shape - at least for the first 4 days. Then the effect started to go away, as mentioned above. Not the doctor's fault, I have had heavy sagging cheeks my whole life, even as a teenager, with bad bone structure. So I came back to Shinsang for more surgery (temple lift), and during this second surgery, they touched up the apple lift for free!

The canthoplasty was dramatic. I was impressed, it also healed so well and so fast, and the stitches did not need removing.

I did not notice a difference with the mini mid face lift, but the doctor warned me I would not see much of an effect. The incision was extremely neat, I could barely see it at all, even immediately after surgery. It was practically invisible.

The temple lift was also dramatic. Completely changed my eyebrow shape. Made my face swell a lot! But no pain at all :)

These surgeries felt so gentle on my face, I think I only took 2 pain killers in total to sleep the first night. No pain otherwise, just face bruises.


The Experience/Clinic

It is an attractive and cosy (warm, clean) clinic. I think this is the most comfortable I have been during surgery, the anaesthesia was so good. They also give vitamin IV before the surgery, and they offer it again the day after surgery. I think they also offer LED treatments for healing, and anti-swelling injections too. I could not stay in Korea long, so did not take advantage of all of the aftercare.

Summary

I would love to come back here for further lifting surgeries in the future. I am glad I found these promotions, I had a great experience with Shinsang. My favourite surgery experience so far :)
