Hi, here is an update on month 3 after my surgery at Shinsang plastic surgery!

I have focused more on the recovery of the tissue and less on the outcome, since the results is pretty much the exact same since month 2 post op.

The scar under the chin is getting more brown as opposed to bright red. I use Avene scar cream on it regularly, it contains silicon, so it’s supposed to make the scar smoother and lighter. The scar is sensitive, but not painful and I have regained most of the sensation under my chin ! It’s not as numb as before which means, the nerves must have grown back !

After CPC, you will be left with what look like two mosquitoes bites behind the ears. They have faded a lot and looks almost invisible. I can feel the scar tissue on the right ear, kind of like a little ball of hard flesh, but the scar tissue on the left ear is almost not noticeable.

One side effect that I did noticed is that my jaw is tight, and this kind of cause my jaw to ‘bulge out’ when seen from different angle if that makes sense. It make my under-chin a little hollow and cause a little bulge which can look a little weird. I think it might be scar tissue under the chin, so I’m waiting to see how it will go.

For the eyes, since the start, I had no complications and even after 1 week post op, I could not see ant scar.

So yeah, I will wait to see how the scar tissue evolve as time pass and keep you updated!
