Hello, This is Hana. I would like to share about my experience of getting Surgeries here at The Face Dental, Seoul, South Korea. At first, I had a consultation with the doctor— Dr Lee. Actually, I had weak chin + protruding mouth + asymmetrical face.So, I got Genioplasty+ Double Jaw Surgery + Vline, respectively. A week before the surgery, they did Face X-Ray, Chest X-ray, blood test, and, took impression for the ‘wafer.’ Then, on surgery day, after the surgery was done, the nurse woke me up ane asked me to stay awake. (I was so sleepy at that time after the surgery) Post Surgery, you need to take extra care. For example, I got coughing full of saliva & blood for almost 2 weeks. (Please prepare a lot of tissue near your bed.) For eating, I only could eat ‘Newcare’ canned food (Milk) for almost 2 weeks, or a little more. I bought the same ‘Newcare’ canned food, as advised. (Make sure you take the picture and find it on offline/online stores.) After two weeks, Doctor Lee said I can try to eat soft food like Omelette , softcakes, porridge, etc. I also got deswelling treatment in The Face Dental. Post 1 month, now, I can eat like normal but still not too hard food that’s to hard to chew. (So, I am eating rice, noodle, chicken, fish) This is me post 1 month after the surgery. My face is still swollen, but not as swollen as the 1st/2nd week after the surgery. In the 2nd week after the surgery, when I was gargling, the water came out from my nose. Worried, I contacted Olivia, and she asked me to come to the hospital. Then, Doctor said it will recover by time. Doctor Lee did a minor stitching in my mouth again to make sure the water would not come out again from my nose. Then, he said, it will be swollen again. And, after that, the water didn’t come out from my nose. So, it is like this—1 month 1 week post surgery & 3 weeks post the minor stitching. This is my exerience. However everyone is different, so are their experiences. I will post my photo again after 2nd & 3rd month post surgery. Thank You
