Can a v-line surgery can fix the appearance of a minor overbite?

I’m wondering if v-line surgery can address a minor overbite, or if double jaw surgery is necessary.
I’ve been hesitant about braces or Invisalign, and I also wanted my protruding mouth to be less distinct.
I’m really hoping for a speedy solution! Your advice on this matter would be invaluable.
