Day 5 after rhinoplasty and my nose looked HUGE… did anyone else panic?
I wasn’t going to post this because I know swelling is normal…
but Day 5 seriously tested me kkk 😭
My nose looked so wide from the front, the tip felt twice as big, and one side seemed much more swollen than the other.
Under good lighting, I could still imagine the final shape.
Then I opened my phone camera and immediately thought, what did I do??
The clinic checked my condition and told me everything looked normal. They also reminded me that swelling around the tip can take much longer to settle.
I understood that logically.
But knowing swelling is normal and actually seeing a completely different nose in the mirror every morning are two very different things kkk.
I fly often for work, so I’m used to looking presentable quickly. Having no control over how my face looked made me much more anxious than I expected.
For anyone who already went through rhinoplasty:
- When was your worst swelling day?
- Did your nose look uneven during the first week?
- When did you first start seeing a shape you actually liked?
Please tell me Day 5 is just the dramatic part before it gets better 😭✨
