POST-OP Day 7 - Adventure in S. Korea
"I must say, I have some thick skin, quite literally! So right now, the result might look a bit weird because it's still swollen. But hey, I'm optimistic that in just a month's time, I'll be looking more human and rocking this new nose!"
I woke up today filled with excitement because it's finally the day for my cast removal at VG! I've been eagerly waiting for this moment. My appointment was scheduled for 10 am, but somehow, I had trouble finding a cab, so I ended up walking to VG. Talk about taking the scenic route!
When I arrived, the doctor checked up on me and informed me that I'll have another follow-up appointment next week. I couldn't resist asking if I could crack a smile, and to my delight, the doctor said it's okay, as long as I don't go overboard. He explained that both my nose and the liposuction area will gradually soften and settle over the next few weeks.
Then came the moment of truth—stitches removal! I have to admit, I got a little teary-eyed, but the amazing nurse by my side was like an encouraging angel. The nurses at VG truly have a special way of making you feel supported and cared for. After the stitches were removed, we even had another round of photo-taking. They handed me the documents I requested, and just like that, I was done for the day.
Sure, I might still look a bit weird at the moment, but I'm genuinely satisfied with the shape of my nose. I apologize if I can't provide more detailed updates right now; I'm just a bit tired from my eventful day. But fear not, my friends, for I shall return next week with more tales of my journey. Until then, stay fabulous!
