4 Month Post op Breast Augmentation
Good morning everyone!
It’s been 4 months and I must say, what a roller coaster!
First off, I’m showing you the scars with cream on them since I remembered. I will be using silicone sheets soon as the cream is running extremely low. To be fair, I almost never see the scars, but they have definitely softened and are way flatter than the 3 month mark. I should be more diligent on applying the cream. I’ll do better for everyone for the next 2 months.
I went to a yoga event and tried on this sports bra, which led to me purchasing it after my friend said that I/my boobs looked good even though the bra looked like it had little to no suppport (she didn’t know I got the surgery done). I eventfully told her it wasn’t the bra, it was the surgeon’s skills that makes it look good in almost anything.
The most common comment I’ve received among friends and colleagues is that my breasts look insanely natural and fits my body really well. They’re not “in your face” and that the change has been a “tasteful” size increase. Even with these supportive compliments, I have an internal complex where I think to myself… maybe I should have gone bigger to get more of a cleavage - you know… similar to the girls you see on “Singles Inferno” or something. But then I realize, I’m not here to get attention from boys with my enhancements - merely build my self-confidence. I’m too old to care about men’s superficial wants. If they don’t like me for my personality and other things, it’s not meant to be.
I recently went for a brief 20 min run with ZERO issues and I can lift and bench weights ok. I’ve been told not to do push-ups by a personal trainer as he has seen many women with implants and the effect of the muscles has on the implants - so I’ve been avoiding those.
The main issue I’ve had thus far is nipple dryness and hypersensitivity. Petroleum jelly definitely helps. The pain/hypersensitivity - I’m just playing the waiting game. I still have some numbness around the outer border of the breast but that doesn’t affect me on a daily basis.
Overall, the clinic and surgeon delivered exactly what I relayed to them. I just remind myself that these new “additions” have definitely improved my quality of life especially when I go shopping for dresses and clothes. I now thoroughly love to shop! Way less limiting. Would I still recommend VIEW Plastic surgery? Absolutely!
