My breast augmentation experience with WOOA
Before and after photos from my breast augmentation surgery! (2 weeks post-op)
Surgery day:
I scheduled my surgery date for a Saturday morning since it would be easier to fast for 8 hours prior to surgery. The day of surgery I went to the hospital to get prepared. I changed clothes and waited. The anticipation was killing me and when they finally called my name, my body felt like pins and needles. But everyone did their best to make me feel as comfortable as possible and I really appreciated that. When I woke up from surgery, I felt kind of surprised by the intitial pain that I felt. Like I could really feel them there despite still being heavily medicated. 😂 So I think I was just in a bit of shock and hoping everything went well. But the doctor assured me everything was good! So I rested in the patients’ room and two hours later, I went home all by myself. Yeah I can’t believe I did that but I guess it can be done!
Recovery:
So it's been two weeks into my recovery now and the first few days were the hardest, at least when it came to moving around a lot (since I'm usually quite active) But I was able to do everything on my own except wash my hair. I couldn’t and shouldn’t lift my arms too high or move too much so I had a friend come by to help me, but I was able to get out of bed and feed myself so that was good. As for work, I did take a week off just to be safe. Even though the doctor did say I could return to work a few days after surgery, I didn’t want to overdo it or do anything that would mess up my healing process. And as for pain, it's managable. The parts that hurt the most are my back from how tight the post-op bra has to be (but it's adjusted to it now) and the sensitivity around the nipple and side of my breast. It can be a bit uncomfortable to wear clothes so I'm hoping that gets better in the next two weeks.
Opinion:
Ultimately I am super happy with the results. I think they look amazing! I can’t wait to see how everything looks once it’s all healed. It’s still very early days but I already feel so much better with my decision to have this procedure done. If you guys have any questions just let me know!
