Treatment name: Rejuran
Clinic name: WOOA Clinic
Date of procedure: November 11, 2025
Rejuran has been one of the most popular skincare boosters in Korea for a few years, and everyone I know who tried it said it helped them a lot. I’m not new to skincare treatments, but I kept putting off Rejuran until now. Since the weather is getting colder and drier, I decided this was finally the right time.
I chose this treatment because it was one of the options on this app )and these days I prefer staying in the Gangnam area for overall safety and quality)
WOOA Clinic is not just a basic skincare clinic with aestheticians, but an actual plastic surgery and dermatology clinic eith doctors doing the procedure, so I felt more comfortable getting the injections all over my face done there as I have had a negative experience in a different area of Seoul (I don’t think I am allowed to mention names, but more closer to central Seoul). Rejuran isn’t exactly invasive, but it’s also not a surface-level procedure, so a sterile and clean environment was very important to me this time.
Even though I already knew I wanted Rejuran, we still did a skin analysis using their machine. They took photos of my skin under different lights and showed me where should I focus. The machine showed that my hydration level improved recently thanks to another treatment I did, but I still needed help with wrinkles, skin tone, and sun damage. So Rejuran ended up being a great match for my skin concerns at this time.
After the consultation and skin analysis, I was taken to apply numbing cream. The numbing and waiting time took about an hour. At first, I thought it was long, but considering how many injections Rejuran involves, the timing was perfect for the numbing effect to be effective.
The procedure itself didn’t take long though. My doctor worked together with an assistant, making sure my skin surface remains clean. The injections were more painful than I expected even with numbing cream, but still manageable. The doctor said I could raise my hand any time if I needed a break, but I ended up doing the whole procedure without stopping. Holding onto a puppy doll helped a lot with managing the discomfort. It was over in just a few minutes and once they applied the aftercare skincare I did not feel the pain anymore.
They told me I might have swelling or bruising for a few days, but I didn’t bruise at all. I only had those little bumps from all the injections, which lasted until the next-next morning(day 3). By then my skin looked normal again. They recommended applying sunscreen more precisely than usual, so I avoided foundation for the whole week and focused only on sunscreen. By day five, I could exercise again. They advised avoiding heavy sweating for a week, but since my skin felt healed, I was able to return to my normal routine.
Today marks 11 days after the treatment, and my skin feels more hydrated, smoother, and my regular skincare absorbs much better.
I’m currently using some Cica products to support the healing process, and I’m already very happy with the results. Rejuran is painful during those few minutes of injections, but in my opinion, it’s completely worth it, especially if you want visible improvement in skin tone, texture, and hydration without doing anything too invasive.
I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who values a safe environment, good time management, and professional service. I loved the experience and would happily return again.
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Give your skin time to recover, use sunscreen generously, and stick to calming products for the first few days. Also do not plan any workouts of sauna visits for at least a week and you should be good!
