Hello, I’m here for an update on my DES from WOOA! Day 2: loads of swelling - Woke up with lots of crusted blood - avoid salty foods, swelling got worse because of that - walked a lot - Bled a bit from the front and back - Double eyelid itself didn’t bleed - Lots of eye boogers and crusted blood when I got back to the accommodation - Took medication at directed time - And eyedrops when necessary - Worse the ice pack on my eyes over night and as much as I could when I was at my accommodation - At the end of the day, eyes were much more swollen - Practiced looking up at the ceiling as directed by the doctor Day 3 - woke up with a lot of eye boogers - Lots of bruising at the ends of my eyes - Eyeball on the left is getting redder - Slight pain on the outer eyes when I close them - Took medication as directed - Eye drops where necessary - Slept with ice pack night before, eyes are significantly less swollen - Avoiding salty foods today - Vision is significantly better than before - Planning on buying scar removal ointment before I leave back to Canada Day 4 - less swollen but lots of bruising - Tightness and soreness on the front and back - The whites of my eyes are getting red from the surgery but the eyedrops help with it and the swelling Day 5 - the bruising is getting better - The front is slightly sore - The back is sore and tight - The crease stitch is okay, with slightly crusted blood Day 6 - upper eyelid swelling is going away slowly - Front and back are still sore and tight but gotten better over the past week - My eye itself is still red Day 7 - eyelids are feeling great - eye itself is still red but no pain - When the stitches were removed it was fine for the crease, and the front but the back was suuuuuper painful more pain I’ve felt than on the tattoos I’ve had Overall pleasant experience, the nurse/doc that took the stitches off was extremely kind and gentle with the removal. I like the way my eyes look now, but am excited for the final result!!
