I wanted to give an update the day of the surgery while the memory of it is still fresh and because I want people to know what to expect out of this surgery. 10:00 am consultation: - the lady who helped me was great and explained the process clearly and in a way where it’s easily digestible - the pricing breakdown was the same as it was on this app so that was a relief - you can pay for the surgery using Apple Pay so don’t worry about that! 2:00 pm surgery preparations: - make sure you wear something that can be removed and put on easily or you’ll have a hard time with your DES - you’ll be directed to use the rest room and so on and change into gowns provided by the clinic - they give you 8 hours to fast but I recommend you fasting for longer - gave me a recommendation and showed me what my eyes would look like, and I was super satisfied 3:00 surgery: - the team was extremely helpful and made me feel at ease. They were comforting and really supportive while getting me set up for anaesthesia - during the surgery they were super nice while asking me how I was doing throughout the process - after everything was done, the staff informed me on how I was feeling, and checked up on me So far so good, but my eyes are soooooo sore, the best way to describe the feeling is the same as if I was crying really hard while rubbing my eyes. The different procedure that I got; - DES, incisional - ptosis correction - epicanthoplasty - lateral canthoplasty Let me know if you have any questions!!
