This policy explains how we handle information collected through the All about MEI website, app, consultation forms, email, phone, messenger channels, and related services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: name, email address, telephone number, messenger type and ID, country or language, clinic or treatment of interest, consultation message, and any photos or health-related details you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, language, referring page, pages viewed, date and time, cookie or session identifiers, advertising click identifiers, and interactions with our pages and consultation buttons.

Please do not include passport numbers, government identification numbers, payment card details, or health information that is not necessary for your inquiry.

3. Why we use information

We use information to deliver your request to the selected clinic, allow All about MEI or the clinic to respond through your chosen contact channel, operate and secure the service, prevent misuse, improve site performance, understand service usage, and measure marketing and advertising results.

4. Consultation transfer to clinics

When you request a consultation for a clinic, treatment, promotion, or photo, All about MEI and Veckon receive the request and may provide the relevant name, contact details, inquiry, selected clinic or treatment, source page, and related request information to the clinic you selected and to authorized consultants supporting that request.

We do not distribute a consultation request to every clinic. After a selected clinic receives the information, its own privacy policy and internal procedures may also apply to its response and medical services.

5. Analytics, advertising, and cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel, to keep the service working, understand visits and page interactions, prevent abuse, and measure advertising performance.

These tools may process technical and event data such as IP address, device or browser information, visited page, referral source, cookie or advertising identifiers, and button events. All about MEI does not intentionally send the text of your consultation message or health details to advertising platforms for personalized advertising.

You can limit cookies through your browser and advertising account settings. Some site functions or attribution may not work as intended after cookies are blocked.

6. Other recipients and service providers

We may use hosting, communications, analytics, advertising, security, and technical service providers only as needed to operate All about MEI. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, All about MEI, Veckon, or the public.

We do not sell or rent consultation information to data brokers.

7. International processing

All about MEI serves users outside Korea and connects them with clinics in Korea. Information may therefore be processed in Korea and in countries where our cloud, communications, analytics, or advertising providers operate, subject to appropriate operational and contractual safeguards.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information only for as long as needed to handle the consultation, provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it using reasonable methods.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children

All about MEI is not intended for children under 14. If a minor needs a medical consultation, a parent or legal guardian should participate and provide any consent required by the clinic or applicable law.

We may update this policy when our service, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
