What happen after 1 month liposuction (GClinic)
Hello Guys!
Its me again, writing a post after 1 month after my 1st ever liposuction journey with G Clinic. Honestly, I will spill every single things good and bad my recovery journey from surviving the 1st day after my procedure til a month plus after it.
First 3 days After procedure
These few days was the super tough days ever. I swear, at one point I’ve regretted my decision on having liposuction. I keep on motivating myself saying “beauty is pain..beauty is pain..” haha just kidding! eventually, I managed to go through the so called tough days with flying colors. The first days, the liquid that trapped in my lipo’ed area was flowing heavily- my clothes soaking wet upon I arrive at the hotel. And I regulary check on the wounds ( 2 small incision sites) to make sure its clean so I wont get any infection. I would advise for those planning to get liposuction, please make sure you buy the pee pad which you need to put on your bed so your bed wont get dirty/stained from the overflowing liquid coming out from the incision site.
Side Effect
The side effect is - my abdomen area getting tight and flabby tummy reduced! (I noticed the difference when I sit, usually I will have this multi layer of fat/skin whatever you called it.. but strangely I dont have it anymore! Honestly, if you ask me whether is it worth it? The pain, soreness, etc - YES! Ok, so thats the good part of it.. the bad part of having this procedure was ;
1. Soreness at abdomen area - for me the pain it’s manageable, pain scale is about 7/10. The pain gradually subsides day by day. I found myself very hard to bend / sitting down. Whatever movement involves my abdomen area, it gave me creeps cos I feel pain.
2) Lost of sensation / Numbness - this can take up few weeks, honestly I still feel few numbness at certain parts at my abdomen area.
3) Hard lump - this is one of the common thing you will get if you perform liposuction, but same as above symptoms it will get off eventually over a week or months. For me, I still have few hard lump at my bikini area. Well, some suggest you go for lymphatic masaage, you can try (please consult your doctor, if you unsure) but I didnt get any massage cos Im too scared. So I just let it subsite naturally, and I drink lots lots lots of water, cos I read somewhere it helps to eliminate this lump after liposuction. So, I make sure I stayed hydrated.
Aftercare
For me, in order to maintain and to get the result that I wanted, I changed my way of eating. I start by eating small portions but not skipping meals. Reduce the intake of fats . I noticed my waist getting reduce by size (Before : 35” Now : 32.5”)
And I take appetite suppressant pills to keep up my diet.
Things You Should/Shouldn’t
If you planning to do this procedures, I would suggest to do it before/ after you getting your menstrual. For me, I find it more comfortable not having my period while doing the procedure. Any type of blood thickening medication, I would suggest you to stop at least 1 week before your procedure. If you have asthma, please take your inhaler before go in cos sometimes anxiety can cause the asthma. For those who are curious, during the procedure you will be wide awake, but you wont feel anything (most of time you wont feel anything, but certain parts during the lipo I can feel a little discomfort and pain). Last thing you should do is, clean yourself (please make sure your private area is clean, get it trim/shave/wax whatever you need to do, please do). Also I would recommend you to bring an extra panties (you might want to change to clean panties after the surgery, but this is 100% up to you cos I feel more comfortable wearing clean panties after the procedure),wet tissue and small towel (just in case if it gets heavy leaking, u can always press the towel on the area)
Overall Experience
Theres things I love and regretted. I love how the result now, and I am really happy with it. I love how All About MEI assist and always there (Thank You Shinwoo and team) for me, even after I went back home. They still helping me answering my curiosity, concern, etc. I feel like I always have someone I can ask. I love how Dr Hong make me feel super comfortable by making a conversation during the procedure (I know its requires skills to focus 2 or more things at 1 time), thank you! I regretted for not getting more parts (I wish I could do other stubborn body part like my arms!) and I wish I could told Dr. Hong to take out ALL the fat.. haha 😂
So, I guess.. thats it. Hope you can keep up and read til end. Feel free to ask me anything, I will give my best shot.
