My Experience With Marble Plastic Surgery
6th December (First Consultation)
- I booked my consultation and surgery fees a few months before so that I could do my consultation and surgery at one shot. The English consultant Emma was quick to reply
- I picked Dr Yoo Ki Hyun to be my surgeon as I saw many fantastic reviews of his on Bibi talk, Gangnam eonni and purseforum. Before meeting him, I talked to the English translator about my concerns, as well as the type of line and eyes that I wanted. The English translator Chang Min kyung was super friendly and she really helped me a lot even though I had a lot of questions haha
- After that, I met with Dr Yoo who showed me the type of line and procedures he was going to do, and the thing I like about Marble is that they do not push for many surgeries and are concise with their explanation. He explained that I needed to do epicanthoplasty due to my Mongolian fold and also designed the line for me
- What I did: epicanthoplasty, incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction( as I use eyelid glue often)
- PS: do not go do your nails as I have to remove mine for the surgery

8th December
- Surgery Day!!! Was told to fast for at least 4 hours before the surgery. They only sedate you for awhile and after that you are conscious pretty much for the whole surgery. After I regained consciousness, my anaesthesia actually wore off so my mistake was not telling the doctor sooner and that’s why it hurt. ( PLEASE let your doctor know immediately if you cannot stand the pain)
- Dr Yoo Kihyun was extremely detailed and kept checking for me and making sure that I was alright despite the language barrier.
- After the surgery was done, I felt pretty sore for the day but thankfully I did not feel unwell after the surgery

Recovery and tips
- It will be swollen and you should ensure that you keep it clean and also ice it properly
- Make sure to walk around!! It helps the most to deswell I walked around a lot and it really helped me heal quickly
