Faceline Plastic Surgery Consultation Review
This is my review receiving lateral canthoplasty and lower eyelid surgery by Dr. Taehee Lee at Faceline Plastic Surgery Clinic!
Hello, I'm leaving a review in hopes that it may be of some help to those considering surgery!
I'll start with how I came to reach the decision to get surgery. Before my surgery, my eyes used to look stuffy with really thin double eyelids. I can even count on my fingers how many times I was told I had a good impression when meeting new people...(hardly ever)
I've always been super envious of large and glamorous eyes. I decided to get eye surgery thinking I needed to improve my image. As I was looking into how I wanted them improved, I found that you could get lateral & lower canthoplasty. I searched before & after photos and found that changing the eye tails or eyes overall could really change one's impression a lot. The very gentle impression that I want..
I don't think it took that long to pick the hospital. I read on communities that Korean plastic surgery clinics are known for being meticulously good so I looked into this focusing on famous plastic surgery clinics that have been around for a long time and are known for skilled expertise, which made it easy to single out the good ones. I went to consult at around 4 different places but I felt uncertain as they all sounded pretty much the same. I decided to go to one last place that someone recommended, which was Faceline Plastic Surgery Clinic in Apgujung. Long story short, Faceline seemed like a good fit for me and I ended up selecting them because the person who referred me had her eyes done there and they turned out really well.
I don't know if it was because my first consultation was on the weekend, but it was packed with people. I think they circulate appointments well because I didn't have to wait that long before I was up. The consultant who booked my appointment over the phone was put in charge of me so she already knew basically what I wanted and my consultation with her ended well. Then I met the surgeon. I think I was blabbing on about something or another because I didn't know much about this but he understood everything I was trying to say... He grasped the image I wanted really well and explained how the surgery would proceed easily so that I could understand everything. It felt more like skimming over everything at other hospitals? Everything just felt really rushed so I thought it'd be like that everywhere because they're busy but here, I actually really appreciated that I could inquire freely and pleasantly without feeling rushed. I also said that I was referred here so they took particularly good care of me. It was quite heartwarming how they treated me at Faceline.
I was confident after the consultation that I didn't need to look into any other hospitals and booked my surgery on the spot. I wanted to get surgery as quickly as possible and my consultant was able to squeeze in my surgery within my departure date.
I'll post a post-op review when I have time tomorrow.
