I found Ilumi through YouTube videos of Dr. Huh Woo Jin. I watched all of his videos multiple times, lol. True to the videos, he is clearly very knowledgeable and confident. He was very honest and set realistic expectations (eg. The crooked nose will not be 100% fixed because my face is asymmetrical to start with. Skin is too thin to add silicone, no need to add height to the bridge). For eyes, he first said I don’t need to do them! Because I wanted to, he suggested ptosis correction with no incision. Overall, Dr. Huh advised for a very natural style. I didn’t want too natural, to be honest, but he took into consideration my whole face, overall style, even my job to make his recommendations. I thought that was thoughtful and perceptive.
If you want more dramatic results, don’t be afraid to come to Ilumi because actually Dr. Huh is well known for well-executed dramatic changes. I think for me he just pushed for a natural style because my look is pretty low key, casual, no make up kind of vibe.

The best thing from this consultation was being connected to MTO Shinwoo. He is super nice, helpful, and his English is impeccable. As this was my first consultation, I had so many questions and he stayed much longer to answer all of them and give me much needed insight and advice. He really helped to ease my confusion and worries. He also suggested going to another consultation bc I didn’t have more planned. So he called and made an appointment that we went to right away!
Omg, he was literally THE most helpful person ever 😭 coming from another country and trying to navigate finding a PS clinic is beyond overwhelming, especially when you’re not fluent in Korean. I thought I was well prepared before coming but once I came, I realized that I wasn’t. So having his help & support made a world of a difference. I really couldn’t be more grateful for his kindness.
