Consultation for rhinoplasty and double chin lipo
Hello~
I wanted to give a detailed review about my double chin and rhinoplasty consultation experience with ATOP plastic surgery. I do currently live in South Korea so visiting hospitals is a lot easier for me.
To start off, I walked into ATOP plastic surgery in the afternoon for my appointment that Olivia helped me book. I was asked to have a seat and they walked over with a form for me to fill out (it was in English). I had to fill out basic information like my name, what country I am from, medical history, procedures I wanted, and etc. After I filled it out, my consultant, who spoke English, came up to me and made sure everything was filled out.
I then proceeded to follow her into a room where I would take pictures of different of my face. I had some difficulty taking off my jewelery but my consultant was very patient and offered to help. Another woman then came in to take pictures of me. She was nice and we even had a laugh because I had to keep spinning in circles.
After my pictures, my consultant then took me to get my CT scan. My consultant and the woman in charge of doing the CT scans were very gentle with me as they were trying to adjust my head for the scan.
Once I finished my scan, my consultant took me to one of the consultation rooms. The doctor was not there yet as it was a busy time with surgeries. My consultant and I used that time to discuss the procedures I wanted. She even gave me some advice on getting the best results. After a few minutes, Dr. Lee Han Jeong came into talk to me.
First, we discussed my main concern which was my double chin area. Looking at the photos as well as the CT scans I could see that I did in fact have a lot of extra fat in that area. Dr. Lee told me I would be a very good candidate for their fox line shaping which has double chin lipo, buccal fat removal, b*tox, and fillers. He explained to me the whole procedure and what he would do to get the best results. He also mentioned I should get neck tightening for the best results as my muscles were also a small issue.
Second, we discussed my nose. He asked me what I wanted to do this my nose so I showed him a picture of my dream nose. He understood what I wanted and went into an explanation of what he can do for me to achieve that. When looking at my bridge he said it wasn’t too bad so I might not need a big implant. To make sure he took out the sample implants and let me feel them as well as sized it on me. At first he said 3.5mm but we then decided 4.5mm would be best due to the area between my eyes. He was very confident that I could get the nose I wanted.
After my consultation with Dr. Lee, my consultant and I discussed pricing. She was extremely honest and gave good advice. As previously mentioned, Dr. Lee advised me to get neck tightening but my consultant said I should wait. She said I was still young and just wait until I’m a bit older to do that. The pricing was a bit pricier than I expected but she did explain to me that with the nose I wanted it required a little more surgery which made sense to me.
After going over all the pricing she asked me if I wanted time to think. I already had my mind mostly set on ATOP before my consultation but after my consultation I felt like they were the right hospital for me. I ended up booking an appointment for my surgery that day. I told her the date I wanted and she booked it right on front of me. I then went to the front to pay my deposit.
That was my detailed experience of my consultation. I will come back here to update on my surgery in a month~
